How to enable dark mode on Facebook Lite
In mid-February 2021, Facebook showed many users a notification to try out a new feature called Dark Mode. Most of those who receive these notifications are users who are using the Facebook Lite application.
Dark Mode or also known as Night Mode has a cool black look. It’s great to activate when you feel Facebook’s light mode indicator too obvious to display and read any text.
Basically, Facebook also initially offered a dark mode function for mobile phones Android One, and one day this feature will also be available for all Android types. For now, if you want a dark mode, use the Facebook Lite app (small version).
Enable dark mode on Facebook Lite
Please note in advance that this feature is only available on the latest version of Facebook Lite. So if you’re still using the old version, please update it first via the Play Store.
Open the Facebook Lite app.
Tap the menu button (triple stripe).
Scroll further down and enable the option Dark mode.
Done, the dark mode has now been applied.
The colors immediately darken, but the text is still legible. To return to the light mode, it is also the same, you just have to deactivate it in the “Dark mode” option.

Why is there no Dark Mode option in the Facebook menu?
First of all, make sure the Facebook Lite app is up to date. If you are already using the latest version but you don’t see the option, please exit (Log out) and then log into the account again.
But there is also because System delaywhere not all accounts can use this feature immediately and have to wait a few days before the Dark Mode option can be displayed in the menu area.
One day this function will also be available in the Facebook application (large version) and the possibility to place the option is also in the menu area. I don’t know when the feature will be released anytime soon. So please just wait.
