How to convert Word files to JPG images

Word has many types of formats for storing created documents. And most of the people choose to save it as a DOC, DOCX, or PDF. But of all the options available, there isn’t a single option to save it as an image file.

The easiest way to convert a document to an image is to use the screenshot feature in Windows. That is, just press the button WINDOWS+SHIFT+S and later the option to take a picture will appear on the screen.

However, there are limitations to using the screenshot feature which will cause the text to wrap if the document is too long. In the meantime, things can be done differently more efficient to easily convert documents to JPG / PNG images. And the method is shared here.

The program that is used to convert words into pictures is Microsoft Paint. It’s a standard Windows program. While it is an image editing program, it can, and it is definitely very simple.

  1. Open the document in Word.

  2. Press the button CTRL+A to select all of the text.

  4. Now open the paint program.

  6. All text and images in the document are displayed. Please check first.

  7. If it feels right, please click on the option file, then Save as, and select as JPEG images.

The document file was successfully converted to an image. And the size of the picture will be adjust from the amount of text what is in the document. So if the text is too long, the size or resolution of the image will be increased as well.

Even if the image extends down, the text is still legible. And you are also free to crop the image if you want to split it into several parts. If you want to share the picture, use the features harvest what’s in paint.

If you think the main method above is too complicated, using this method might feel convenient. Because when you do it online, all you have to do is do it with a few clicks.

How to convert Word to JPG online:

  1. Please visit the PDFConverOnline website.

  2. Then drag and drop the document file onto the website.

  3. Wait for the upload and conversion process to complete.

  4. When you are done, you will see the file results in the section Conversion Results.

By default, the resulting file is compressed as a ZIP (archive file). You can also set it to appear immediately as a result of the image by changing the section settings, exactly in the options After the conversion and choose as Do nothing.

Of course, the two methods above have their own advantages and disadvantages. The first method has a disadvantage in the conversion process, which is relatively slow, but the benefit is that the document file remains safe.

Meanwhile, the second method has the advantage of conversion, which can be done quickly with the various options available. The downside, however, is the confidentiality of the document, which in my opinion is not secure as it was uploaded to the website’s server. Even if the website is trustworthy, but if the document file is too important, please think about it first.
