How to change the Mac address on a computer or laptop
Every device that can connect to the Internet must have a Mac address that acts as the device’s identity. Just like IMEI, the Mac address code must be different and can never be the same.
But is it impossible to change the mac address? The answer is no because some devices like routers or computers have settings that allow users to change their identity for their own reasons.
And not all computers or laptops can, because all of them depending on driver compatibility. And this is something that testers do more often to try to manipulate the Mac address or just to protect privacy.
Tutorial on How to Change Mac Address on PC
The main way shared in this article is through WiFi driver settings, but again, know that not all WiFi drivers on your computer or laptop can change the Mac address. So if this main method doesn’t work, try the alternate method below.

WINDOWS+Rand type devmgmt.msc then ENTER.
Look in the section for wireless drivers Network adapter.
When you find it, right click and choose properties.
Then go to the tab Progressive.

And change part value with the new Mac address.
Next, click the button
OKunder.In the last step, please restart the device.
To check if it works or not please open command prompt and type ipconfig /all. Check the Mac Physical Address section. If this changes from before, it will surely work.

Change the Mac address using TMac
This is an alternate method if the main tutorial above doesn’t work. So this method uses the help of another program called Technitium MAC address changer or commonly referred to as Tmac, there is even such a program called SMAC.
Using the program is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is open the program, then select the WiFi adapter and after that just change the Mac address in the column below.
After changing, just click directly command prompt without the need for a reboot, the mac address can certainly be changed now.
To return to the original Mac address in the Tmac program, just press the key Restore Original. Even if you forget to back up your previous Mac address, it won’t be a problem as the program will automatically save it if you change it.
