How to back up and restore through CWM recovery

CWM recovery

In the previous article I explained how to install CWM step by step and of course it is very easy as it uses the help of an application. And this time, I’m going to show you how to backup using CWM Recovery. This backup is mandatory because just in case your phone has certain problems after editing something on the system and you run into problems and one of the hopes is to restore the backup file that was created. When you have your phone’s original backup file, no longer need to be confused when trying to factory reset your phone. So this is the same as flashing from a computer, it’s just easier.

The use of this backup file is not specifically intended for Android users who want to edit the system or install a new custom ROM, it is for all Android phones with status. ROOT. For example, if your phone is booting due to a mistake while editing something on the system, you can simply restore the backup that you made a long time ago. I myself already have several backups of several custom ROMs that I try just in case the phone has functional problems. Below is the procedure to back up and restore over Clock Work Mod (CWM) recovery see below.

  1. First of all, go to the CWM recovery menu and go to the menu
    Restore Backup.

  2. Then there are several menus, please select the menu Fuse.

  3. Then please wait until the process is finished, wait up to 5 to 10 minutes Show text Backup completed.

  4. To restore, please go to CWM and then select the menu Restore Backup.

  5. After that, please select the menu, b> Restore and wait for the restoration process to complete. Wait 5 to 10 minutes for it to say Restoration complete.

It’s easy, isn’t it? You can regularly make backup copies every time you have worked properly with the system. Some of the obstacles to recovering are that there is Md5 mismatch text that can be easily overcome, namely through Delete the nandroid.md5 file on the folder / Uhrwerkmod / Data backup / and Replace the nandroid.md5 file with empty text, and try again, it should work fine. If you have very long backups it is because many applications have been installed and it is a good idea to delete the less important ones first as some applications store enormous amounts of data and can take a long time to backup. If you have anything to ask, please comment.

Hopefully useful and good luck
