Fix Windows Explorer does not preview images
When managing a file with a large number of images, it is almost impossible to select them one by one unless the situation is important.
But suppose a user wants to upload a picture to Facebook who forgets the name of the picture file, it will surely be difficult to choose which picture file to upload while forgetting the file name. This preview function will be useful for this later.
Preview or in English Thumbnails This is very necessary for everyone in certain situations as not everyone can remember the picture from the file name alone and it appears when using a Java phone and entering the file manager into it.
This is only the case on old school mobile devices, however, and mobile phones now have a preview of the image if you choose to choose.

There is also a preview function on the PC. It’s just that for some people who have set it incorrectly, the feature may not be active and therefore the image preview will not be shown and only each image file show all blue symbols.
Users entering this article may already understand the title above and it is true that this can still be overcome as this problem only occurs in the settings and does not affect anything.
Click START and search for keywords Folder options then press ENTER.
A new window will appear, select named on the menu tab view.
In the section Data and folders do not tick the option mentioned Always show symbol, never preview image but check the option Show file icon on thumbnails.
Keep pressing the button Use first and after pressing the button OK. And now try to open Windows Explorer, you will see a preview of each image file. If you don’t see it, try restarting your PC.
I’ve tried the above method with Windows 7 and it seems to work for other versions of Windows. Even if the preview still doesn’t appear, it is likely because the user set the section Preview area to a simple list.
My suggestion is that user create new folder which only contains image files, Windows will automatically select it Preview area specific to this folder so that the preview can be displayed.
That’s all I can share for now. If users have problems with the above method, please read more carefully and if you still cannot, please comment.
After following the above method, there is also no need to restart the device and Windows will immediately apply the preview function. This method is also almost the same as Finding Hidden Files and the only difference is in the section for enabling an option.
Hopefully useful and good luck
